South Yorkshire Hospitality Group Toasts New Finance Deal with Barclays
South Yorkshire based business Brewkitchen Limited has today announced expansion plans with a refinance package and new funding solutions from Barclays.
Established in 2007, the company is headquartered at 315-319 Eccleshall Road, Sheffield and includes eateries The Graze Inn, The Cricket Inn and Rose Garden Café. The group is an associate business of Thornbridge Brewery set up by local entrepreneur Jim Harrison and renowned Sheffield restauranteurs Richard and Victoria Smith and also includes LSJ Outside Catering. The new funding consolidates the whole groups banking with sole bankers Barclays.
The company employs over 100 staff across the Brewkitchen Groups and turnover is expected to exceed £5million for the year.
Jim Harrison, Chairman, Brewkitchen Limited said:
“We need to continue with our investment programme to ensure that our restaurants and bars provide quality produce sourced locally for our customers. Barclays supported our growth with Thornbridge Brewery so we decided to consolidate all our banking with them and the new funding will enable us to continue on our growth journey.”
Matthew Chenery, Relationship Director at Barclays commented:
“I have been working with Jim and the Thornbridge directors for some time now to see how we can support their growth and provide the facilities to take them to the next exciting chapter for the business. The funding deal will provide them with more flexibility for their expansion plans and I am confident we will see this ambitious business going from strength to strength.”
